Hi!  I'm Jill.

I have loved to make things for as long as I can remember.  My childhood memories are of my craft supplies, puzzles, Legos and playing outside.

Not much has changed.

I received a B.F.A. in textile design and I worked for 7+ years as a stylist in the wallpaper industry before my daughter was born.  Since then, I have been a freelance designer working from home.

I live in beautiful Rhode Island with my husband, daughter and dog.  We enjoy spending time outdoors together, either at the local beach or in the N.E. mountains.  My life and surroundings are my source of inspiration.

Most of my surface pattern designs are hand painted, a few are created digitally and some are a combination of the two. The resulting prints are usually colorful and fun.

Watercolor, gouache and oil paint are the mediums that I paint with the most. I'm continually exploring different subject matter but I'm always inspired by food, flowers and everyday objects.

I fall asleep dreaming about things that I want to create and I wake up excited about projects that I want to work on.
